The Managing Director (MD) of the Friedman & Child Rehabilitation Centre (FCRC) is accountable for the strategic leadership and operational performance of the Centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services to children with cerebral palsy and motor disorders.
As a member of the Executive Team, reporting to the Company Director, the MD shares corporate responsibility for the strategic direction, cultural leadership, and operational success of the Centre. The MD will ensure robust clinical operations, efficient use of resources, and a safe, supportive environment for staff, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of operational, financial, workforce, and service performance in line with strategic plans.
Oversee and direct the Senior Management Team to implement rehabilitation strategies and service improvements.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture across all levels of staff.
Maintain oversight of Quality & Safety, Governance & Risk, and all regulatory KPIs to ensure standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Monitor, evaluate, and respond to performance data, patient outcomes, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Lead performance management processes, including training, staff development, and remedial action as necessary.
Ensure robust financial management, including budget planning, payroll approvals, and cost control.
Support the hiring, onboarding, and evaluation of staff, fostering professional development through regular feedback and reviews.
Lead Centre-wide communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders, families, and referring professionals.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, safeguarding, and data protection standards.
Analyze clinical and operational data to inform service development and future planning.
Promote a strong organisational identity focused on patient wellbeing, family partnership, and ethical service delivery.
Represent the Centre at strategic forums, inspections, and in wider community engagement.
